Beginner Yoga: No yoga experience is necessary. This class is an excellent opportunity to learn a series of gentle postures and breath technique. This class will increase strength, flexibility, awareness and encourage mental focus and calmness. A great intro to yoga.
Beginner Hot Yoga: Some yoga experience is recommended. This class is for those ready to take their practice to the next level. This class is practiced in a heated studio 85-90 degrees. A flowing series of postures that synchronize with the breath. A total body workout which builds strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance while detoxifying and relaxing the body and mind.
All Level Yoga: This class is open to all levels and provides an opportunity to deepen your awareness of the poses for an overall calming effect. The pace is moderate and designed to strengthen the physical body, awaken the spirit and calm the mind. You will leave feeling strong, calm and centered.
Advanced Hot Yoga: This class is practiced in a heated studio at 90-95 degrees in order to facilitate deep stretching and release of toxins. This class is for those looking for a challenge and ready to take their practice to a deeper level. Experience a flowing blend of different styles of yoga. Each class has a different sequence of postures (asanas). This is an intense class that will get the blood flowing, build core strength, tone muscles, help you lose weight and quiet the mind. In addition students will be exploring arm balances, headstands, handstands, deep back bends and twists.
Power Vinyasa Yoga: This will be a great way to introduce yourself to the basic elements of a Power Vinyasa Yoga, including sun salutations, the warrior sequence and breath linked to movement. Class will move at a pace that will allow for a focus on these basic postures. The class is taught in a 85-90 degree room allowing you to stretch deeper and further without injury. You also detox the body, reduce stress, improve strength and flexibility and balance, have greater mental clarity and leave with an over-all sense of well-being.
Yoga Sculpt: Come tone and build muscle strength and flexibility with this yoga inspired fitness class. This class combines strength training, core strengthening exercises and yoga postures. You will receive a great work out with the benefits of personal training.
Meditation: Helps to reduce stress and develops a sense of inner peace and joy. Guided meditation helps students relax, focus and leave behind a long day of obligations. Beginner and advanced students can attend meditation classes.
Restorative Yoga: This is a wonderful class for everyone, Beginners, Cancer patients, students recovering from an injury and even advanced student. Restorative Yoga focuses on relaxing the body in restful postures. Restful meaning, to provide the body an opportunity to renew and heal.
Community Karma Yoga: Qualified Yoga Teachers (in training) teach these lower priced classes. These classes are a all level class. We established these classes as a way to make yoga available to students of all economic levels. Drop in rate for Thursday’s Karma class is $5.00.
