FLEX AND FLOW VINYASA CLASS
This is a 60-minute class that fuses strength training with total conditioning. The "flex" refers to isometric holds in poses aimed at strengthening and toning your major muscle groups.  The "flow" refers to a smooth and fluid series of poses that acts to counterbalance the muscle contracting.  This workout alternates flex with flow simultaneously providing our body with challenge and release.

BEGINNER VINYAYSA FLOW CLASS
This is an instructional class that teaches students how to center on their mat for 3 - 5 minutes at the beginning of each class using various breathing techniques; takes the student through a series of warm ups preparing the body for the vinyasa flow that includes sun salutations, the warrior series, triangle, standing balancing poses, floor work and final relaxation (savasan/corpse pose). Also great for students who would like to return to basics.  

FOUNDATION FLOW:
For beginners that have built a foundation and intermediates that are looking for a gentler flow. This class will increase strength, flexibility, awareness and encourage mental focus and calmness and is a great introduction to ALL Levels, Intermediate, and Heated yoga.

COMMUNITY CLASS:
This is a NO CHARGE Beginner vinyasa flow yoga class held the last Tuesday of every month. The donation theme will change monthly and will be posted in the studio and on our website. Thank you for partnering with Self Awakening Yoga Studio in the very exciting path.

DEEP STRETCH:
This is a wonderful class for everyone, beginner, cancer patients, students recovering from an injury and advanced students. Deep Stretch is the perfect way to unwind and soothe your soul in this restorative class. We will focus on relaxing the body in restful postures, to provide the body an opportunity to renew and heal. Come melt away stress! This class is sure to leave you feeling relaxed, refreshed and renewed! Deep Stretch is a quiet, meditative yoga practice that invites you to hold seated postures with relaxed muscles allowing for the opening of deep connective tissues of the joints. This practice is available to practitioners of all levels and can be safe and beneficial for students with back, hip or shoulder pain or injuries.

ALL LEVEL VINYASA FLOW YOGA:
This class is a blend of freestyle vinyasa Yoga~ awakening, mindful, fluid flow designed to get you moving, bring your attention to the breath and find fluidity between postures. This class is creative, fun and playful! Excellent for developing grace, flexibility, core strength, balance, muscular strength and stress reduction. Appropriate for students of all levels of yoga.

ADVANCED HOT VINYASA FLOW YOGA:
This class is practiced in a heated studio at 90 degrees in order to facilitate deep stretching and release of toxins. This class is for those looking for a challenge and ready to take their practice to a deeper level. Experience a flowing blend of different styles of yoga. Each class has a different sequence of postures (asanas). This is an intense class that will get the blood flowing, build core strength, tone muscles, help you lose weight and quiet the mind. In addition, students will be exploring arm balances, headstands, handstands, deep back bends and twists.

HOUR OF POWER VINYASA FLOW YOGA:
An energetic hour filled with a fast paced asana (yoga pose) flow. Utilizing our breath to guide our movement and concentrating on alignment as we transition from pose to pose building strength and increasing flexibility. The room is warmed to 75 - 78 degrees and the time flies by with a pace that is uplifting and fun.

YOGA FOR KIDS – 6-WEEK TUESDAY AFTERNOON MORNING SERIES - $54.00 – pre-payment required. (10% discount for more than 1 child in same household) Yoga for children 6-12 years old improve their motor skills and overall fitness, develop sense awareness, foster teamwork, compassion and creativity. Kids explore yoga postures and games to give them an introduction to yoga at their level.   

PRENATAL YOGA - 6 WEEK SATURDAY MORNING SERIES - $80.00 - pre-payment required. Prenatal Yoga classes provide an opportunity to develop greater vitality and awareness of your body that is home for two, as well as to deepen your relationship with your baby.

Gentle postures, breath work, visualization, vocal toning and meditation are learned to cultivate flexibility, calm and confidence in preparation for labor and childbirth. Enhance relaxation, comfort, and enjoyment. Calm and flexibility ease the birthing process, thus reducing pain and increasing the joy of giving birth. Prepare for an active and natural birth. No previous yoga experience necessary.
